Be sure to read the post regarding floor types. That is almost everything you need to know about Nyzul. BUUUUT, there are some things you may be curious about.
Runic Disc - If this is the first time in Nyzul, be sure to pick up your runic disc. You get the disc in the Nyzul Isle Lobby (the room after we enter, but before we go to the first floor). Touch the Rune of Transfer in the main room and you will get your disc. DO NOT CLIMB WITHOUT IT lol. You won't get credit for your floors.
Tokens - For successfully completing a Nyzul Isle run, you will earn tokens. These tokens are used to go up to the higher floors (using your runic disc). Also, the tokens are used for special temporary items. There's a list of items below. How important are tokens? It costs 1900 tokens to take your party to floor 96. Depending on the floors you climb, you will only get 700 - 1365 for completing 5 floors. So be aware of your tokens, because you will also need to buy items for boss floors.
Chests (no, not boobs) - When you kill mobs, some of them will drop chests. Brown chests will drop from Notorious monsters. Anyone can open and get this. it will drop a ??? item that can be appraised.
Blue chests will contain temporary items that are only good for THAT Nyzul run. GOOD items. Melee, we really don't have time to stop and open these. Always keep in mind that the main enemy here is time. Healers, please open these chests and let us know what's in there. Most of the items are beneficial for mages anyway, but if a dusty wing, or body boost or Braver's drink drops, please say so.
